Fields of Stevenson
1. Woodleaf Homes has opened a model of the Coventry, a traditional single-family home at the Fields of Stevenson in Stevenson, Baltimore County, where the company will build 65 houses.
The Coventry has 3,426 square feet of living space and a base price of $324,900. Options on the model, however, raise the cost to $356,029. A $10,000 options discount from the builder lowers the final price to $346,029.
You enter the house through a two-story vaulted foyer. There is a 15-by-17-foot living room, 14-by-14-foot dining room, 20-by-14-foot sunken family room with a gas fireplace, 13-by-11-foot library, powder room and laundry room with tub.
Upstairs, the master suite includes a 20-by-14-foot bedroom, ceiling fan ($390), 8-by-11-foot walk-in closet and a bath with a whirlpool tub ($1,350), separate shower and dual vanities. Two additional bedrooms share a hall bath. Bedroom four is 13-by-15-foot and has a private bath ($4,500) and a dormer window.
A model of the Jason, a 3,100-square-foot traditional home selling for $319,900, is scheduled for completion next month. The living and dining rooms are both 14 by 15 feet. A 14-by-11-foot library, 14-by-18-foot sunken family room with wood-burning fireplace, 13-by-10-foot kitchen, 13-by-12-foot breakfast room, laundry room and powder room complete the first floor.
The second floor has a master suite with a 7-by-13-foot walk-in closet, 14-by-19-foot bedroom and bath with a sunken tub, dual vanities and separate shower. Three additional bedrooms and a hall bath are also on this level.
With a starting price of $289,900, the Hamilton is the least expensive house offered. The 2,630-square-foot home has a 14-by-14-foot living room, 15-by-14-foot dining room, 10-by-11-foot library, and 19-by-13-foot sunken family room with a wood-burning fireplace.
A 10-by-15-foot kitchen, 11-by-11-foot breakfast room, powder and laundry rooms and a two-car garage also occupy the first floor.
A 14-by-17-foot master bedroom with a 7-by-11-foot walk-in closet and a bath with dual vanities, sunken tub and separate shower are located upstairs. A hall bath and three more bedrooms complete the second floor.
Brick fronts, gas heating cooking and hot water, six-panel interior doors, full basements with poured concrete walls, oak stair railings, three smoke detectors and two-car garages are some of the standard features on all homes.
The sales center is open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday through Thursday. Take I-695 to exit 21 and take a left on Stevenson Road, a right on Radio Tower Road and a left on Park Heights Avenue to the community on the left.

2. Rocky Gorge Communities has opened the Calvert IV NTC condominium at Grey Rock in Pikesville, Baltimore County, where the company is building 160 homes.
A 1,478-square-foot "European style flat," the Calvert IV has a base price of $151,900.
The kitchen and vaulted ceiling dining room are both 11-by-14-foot. There is a 16-by-16-foot living room, 9-by-11-foot den and breakfast nook.
The master suite includes a 15-by-11-foot bedroom with cathedral ceiling and a bath that can be equipped with a soaking tub and separate shower ($1,495) or a whirlpool tub ($1,095). There is also a second bedroom, full hall bath, gas heat, central air conditioning, a private deck or balcony, a garage and an optional two-sided direct-vent gas fireplace ($2,795).
A private gatehouse community, Grey Rock also will have three-level townhouses.
