Victim spots suspect a day after being robbed

A Darlington man was being held in the detention center on $15,000 bond after being charged in a June 16 robbery. Allen Stansbury Holley Jr., 33, of the 2400 block of Conowingo Road was arrested June 17 after the victim saw him in a liquor store.

Deputies said Arlen Fitch, 61, of Darlington was driving west on Castleton Road near Conowingo Road at 9:30 a.m. June 16 when a man walked onto the road and waved for her to stop. He got into her car, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. He fled with about $22.

* 600 block Harborside Drive: Someone stole a 12-foot rowboat from a parking lot June 10. The loss was estimated at $650.

* 1500 block of Churchville Road: Someone broke into a snowball stand June 9 and stole money and a snowball machine. The loss was estimated at $1,090.

WHITEFORD

* 1100 block of Quarry Road: Someone maliciously destroyed well caps at seven lots June 8. The damage was estimated at $2,100.
