ROCKVILLE -- Bogey-free rounds spread over two afternoon rain delays helped John McNaney (32-34--66) and Dennis Winters (33-34--67) finish 1-2 in the 51-pro field of a Middle Atlantic PGA pro-am at par-71 Redgate Golf Course.

Among the amateurs, Steve Grace, a seven handicapper at Redgate, had four birdies and three bogeys in shooting 34-36--70 for low gross over the 6,100-yard Montgomery County course. Redgate's Doyle Gantt had low net, 73-12-61.
