Some community center fees will increase

Union Bridge will be charging higher fees to out-of-towners who want to rent the community center social hall and kitchen.

Fees for people living outside the town limits will be $125 for the social hall and $50 for the kitchen. Town residents pay $50 for the hall and $25 for the kitchen.

All renters must pay a $100 security deposits.

The town said the rates are more in line with what is being charged for renting similar facilities. Also, the fees did not cover the cost of operating and maintaining the facilities, Clerk Treasurer Kathleen D. Kreimer said.
