*Ellicott City: 10300 block of Kingsbridge Road: Vandals damaged the interior of a house under construction Saturday or Sunday, but police said nothing was taken.

10100 block of Route 40: An officer responding to an alarm at Bethany Cleaners Sunday found a lock twisted from the front door. A cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money was taken, police said.

*Elkridge: 7000 block of Ducketts Lane: Someone attempted to steal a 1989 Jeep Cherokee early Monday morning, police said.
