Raymond Miller returns to Annapolis salon

Raymond Miller, president of Raymond's Hairstylists in Annapolis, has returned to work at the salon after several years' absence.

Mr. Miller worked as a representative for the Philadelphia-based CFN, manufacturer's representatives for professional beauty products.

The 15-year veteran of hairstyling has won several awards.

Stevens promoted to vice president

Severna Park resident Carol A. Stevens has been promoted to senior vice president of human resources at Hechinger Stores Co. in Landover.

An employee with the company since November 1988, Ms. Stevens was promoted to vice president in charge of human resources in 1992.

Before working for Hechinger, Ms. Stevens worked for Mobil Oil Corp. and International Playtex.

Navy honors Denale, Price

Two employees from the Annapolis Detachment of the Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warface Center were honored at the recent 1994 Excellence in Federal Career Awards.

Robert Denale received the Outstanding Supervisor, GM-13 and above award for his work as supervisory metallurgist in the Welding Branch since 1991.

Renee Price, an employee since 1984, was honored for her accomplishments in equal employment opportunity service while a secretary in the Physical Metallurgy Branch.
