Peabody board member

Margaret W. Hilgartner, a longtime resident of Roland Park, died June 18 at Keswick of an apparent stroke. She was 92.

She was on the boards of the Peabody Institute and Union Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Woman's Club of Roland Park.

She was born Margaret Wehr in Baltimore and graduated from the Bryn Mawr School and Bryn Mawr College.

Her husband, Andrew Henry Hilgartner, died in 1946.

Private services were planned.

She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Margaret Hilgartner-Arky of Tenafly, N.J.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
