* Westminster: A Manchester Avenue resident reported to city police on June 13 that her car was covered with lipstick and had its windshield broken. Police estimated the damage at $75.

Residents of the Carroll Meadows development reported to county police a total loss of $800 on Friday resulting from break-ins and thefts from their vehicles.

Police responded to a breaking and entering at the Subway sandwich store in the Village Shopping Center on Route 140 Monday. Property valued at $1500 was taken.

A 15-year-old male juvenile, now held in the custody of the Sykesville Shelter Home, was arrested Monday on charges of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and use of a deadly weapon with intent to injure. He was one of at least three participants in the beating of another youth, city police said.

The side mirror of a Westminster woman's car was broken off as it sat parked on the 200 block of East Main Street, city police said. The mirror is valued at $100.

A resident of Johahn Drive reported to city police that someone ** had entered his home without permission. There was no damage or loss reported.
