Two boys arrested in vandalism spree in Severn

County police arrested two 14-year-old boys believed to be responsible for a spate of vandalism on Somerset Road early Monday morning.

They are suspected of spraying gold paint on several cars, street signs and mail boxes in Severn, police said. They also are accused of damaging a neighbor's pool, police said. Both have been charged with destruction of property and vandalism.

Both youths, who live in Severn, were identified after an investigation by a Western District officer. They were arrested about 12:30 a.m., police said.
