3 charged with battery, resisting arrest

Three teen-agers, one of them a juvenile, were arrested dTC Wednesday night on charges arising from an incident in which two officers said youths fought them while they were investigating a trespassing complaint.

Two officers went to a house in the 8300 block of Flintlock Court shortly before 11 p.m. after a woman complained that three people refused to leave her home. Police said they found three teen-agers sitting in the living room.

The officers ordered the trio to leave, then threatened to arrest them. One of the teens punched the officer who tried to handcuff him, police said. The youth was handcuffed after a brief struggle.

Carlos Omar Brown, 18, of the 1600 block of Circle Road, Eric Dewayne Pinkett, 19, of the 1800 block of Circle Road and a 15-year-old boy were charged with trespassing, battery and resisting arrest, police said.

The juvenile was issued a citation and released to the custody of his parents. Mr. Brown and Mr. Pinkett were released on their own recognizance.

* Odenton: Someone broke into the Odenton Laundry in the 1100 block of Odenton Road on Wednesday morning and stole an undisclosed amount of money from a change machine and three safes.
