2 men injured seriously in Jessup collision

Two men were seriously injured yesterday when their vehicles collided at a Jessup intersection shortly before an afternoon thunderstorm, Howard County fire and rescue officials said.

The crash occurred about 3 p.m. in the 8300 block of Dorsey Run Road, said Battalion Chief Donald Howell of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Howard County police were investigating the accident yesterday and would provide further details.

Theodore Dice, 49, of the 12200 block of N. Brookdale Road in Montgomery County was in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore yesterday. He suffered a severe injury to the head, Chief Howell said.

The other victim, Kevin Brown, 37, of the 4700 block of Knitwood Road in Baltimore, was driven to Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, where he was in serious condition yesterday with chest injuries, Chief Howell said.
