POLICE LOG

* North Laurel: 9700 block of Mountain Laurel Way: A black 1991 Ford Escort with Maryland tags ZGF 550 was stolen June 5 or 6, police said.

* Savage: 8800 block of Corridor Road: A 1992 GMC truck stolen from the Ryder Truck Rental company June 5 was found in Baltimore the next day, police said.

* Scaggsville: 8100 block of Aladdin Drive: A generator was stolen from Hammond Elementary School on June 4 or 5 after someone broke into a storage shed, police said.

* Jessup: 7500 block of Montevideo Road: The side door and window of a home were found open Tuesday, but there was no sign of forced entry. Police said an unknown amount of property was reported stolen.

7200 block of Montevideo Road: Officers responding to an alarm at the Veterans of Foreign War Hall early Tuesday found a rear door pried open, but nothing was taken, police said.
