THEFT: Northeastern District -- A bike valued at more than $100 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 3100 block of Dudley Ave. Wednesday.
THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Wednesday and stole an AM-FM radio valued at $70.
ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1000 block of N. Fremont Ave. was near his home Wednesday when a man struck him several times with a length of wood, causing injuries to the victim's head, arms, face and legs. The victim was treated at Maryland General Hospital and released.
ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3600 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. was forced into a car occupied by three men and a woman carrying an infant near his home Wednesday and later robbed of $500. The victim escaped unharmed.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 4400 block of Fairview Ave. Wednesday by someone who reportedly entered through a rear bathroom window.
CUTTING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who cut a resident of the 3100 block of Woodland Ave. on the left arm during an incident Wednesday in the 4700 block of Park Heights Ave. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital and released.
SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Reisterstown Road was in the 4700 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday when another man shot him in the left foot. The victim was treated at the Liberty Medical Center.
STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1988 Ford station wagon with Maryland tags ALB 743 was stolen Wednesday from the 3500 block of Clifton Ave.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A Forest Hill, Harford County, man was in the 5800 block of York Road Wednesday when a man with a knife demanded his ATM card. When the victim refused, the man robbed him of $5 and fled.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police were seeking two men who entered a house in the 600 block of E. 37th St. through a basement door and stole property.
STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A blue 4-door 1992 Honda Civic with Maryland tags ZPN 247 was stolen Wednesday from the 3300 block of N. Calvert St.
THEFT: Northern District -- A lap-top computer, two nylon carrying bags, an airline ticket to Poland, a passport and an insurance policy, all valued at more than $3,500, were stolen from a 1994 GMC Safari wagon parked in the 3500 block of N. Charles St. Wednesday.
SEX OFFENSE: Garrison Precinct -- Police were seeking a man who was severely cut with a knife after sexually assaulting a woman near her home in the 7400 block of St. George's Road Wednesday night. The woman was leaving her home to pick up her child from a baby-sitter when she was grabbed by a man who demanded money. When she refused, the man forced her to commit a sex act at knifepoint. During the act, the woman grabbed the knife and cut the man several times, causing him to bleed profusely and flee on foot. A check of area hospitals failed to locate the man. The woman was treated at a hospital.
ROBBERY: White Marsh Precinct -- A man wearing a white hockey mask and carrying an Uzi-type weapon robbed the Wendy's restaurant in the 7500 block of Pulaski Highway Wednesday night. After entering through a rear door, the gunman forced four employees into a walk-in freezer before ordering a fifth employee to give him money from an office safe. The gunman escaped with more than $100. There were no customers in the restaurant at the time.
ROBBERY TRY: Towson Precinct -- A 36-year-old East Baltimore woman was withdrawing money from an ATM in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard Wednesday night when a man with a knife demanded her money. The woman fell to the ground and cried out, causing the man to flee.
THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- While moving from the 7900 block of Belridge Road to the 8400 block of Kingsridge Road Tuesday, a woman discovered $6,000 in jewelry was missing.
ROBBERY: Joppa -- Two men with handguns robbed the Pizza Hut restaurant at U.S. Route 40 and Joppa Farm Road Wednesday night of an undisclosed sum of money. After entering the restaurant near closing time, one of the men told a waitress he wanted to see the manager. The man approached the manger as she counted out a register and demanded money while pointing a handgun. The second gunman stood at the rear door as a lookout. After taking money from the register and forcing the manager and waitress into a walk-in freezer, the gunmen escaped, driving off in an off-white pickup truck with stripes on the sides.
