Compact disc stereo stolen from car

Thieves cut a hole in the roof of a Volkswagen convertible Monday morning and stole a $300 compact disc stereo, county police said.

Brandi Lise Kaiser, 19, told police the car was parked on the Marley Station Mall's lot between 10:45 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. The thieves also caused $300 in damage to the car, police said.
