Eldersburg Elementary School recently participated in the Jump Rope for Heart and collected $6,832.65 from 138 students for the American Heart Association.

The top team collected $683.20. Members were Denise Pickett, Tracey Friedland, Lauren Fox, Kimberly Leone, Amanda Saia and Jamie Janowich.

Denise Pickett was the top money-raiser for the second year in a row with $325.80. She received the Jump Rope Trophy and other prizes.

Other top fund-raisers include: Nick Behr, $300.60; Kim Carlson, $285; and Lauren Fox, $174.20.
