MIAMI -- A toddler fell 25 feet to the ground from a third-floor apartment window onto a wet grassy area yesterday but escaped without serious injury, doctors at Miami Children's Hospital say.

Jeremy Williams, 2, of Goulds, Fla., showed no signs of serious internal or external injuries. He was kept overnight for observation and was to go home today.

Jeremy's father said the boy removed a screen and fell while his parents slept.
