* Mount Airy: Mount Airy assisted Frederick County for a child locked in a car in the 300 block of Spring Valley Court at 3:14 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for eight minutes.

Mount Airy and Lisbon in Howard County responded to a house fire in the 6200 block of Quadratic Drive at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 16 minutes.

* Winfield: Winfield, Mount Airy, Sykesville and Westminster and Lisbon in Howard County responded to an apartment fire in the 1800 block of W. Old Liberty Road at 11:13 p.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 36 minutes.

Winfield responded to a brush fire in the 900 block of W. Liberty Road at 6:44 p.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 12 minutes.
