POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 3700 block of St. Paul Street: Lawn equipment was stolen from a storage shed at Saint Paul's Church over the past weekend, police said.

* Elkridge: 6300 block of Route 1: Cash and cigarettes were stolen from the Elkridge Cafe just after midnight Wednesday. A newspaper delivery person found the shop's front glass door broken, police said.
