A man robbed a Wendy's restaurant at gunpoint yesterday morning and forced several employees into a walk-in freezer before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, county police said.
The gunman entered the store around 2 a.m., shortly before closing, and forced the employees inside the freezer, police said. He made the store manager open the safe and forced him to hand over the day's receipts, police said.
The employees stayed in the freezer until after the gunman had left, police said. No one was hurt.
