Man, 26, is charged with stabbing his brother

A 26-year-old Annapolis man has been arrested and charged with stabbing his brother, city police said.

Carlos Dennis Thomas of the first block of Johnson Court was being held in the county jail in lieu of $5,000 bond after he was arrested early Tuesday in the wounding of Cornelius Kendall Thomas, 27.

The attendant at an Amoco station in the 900 block of West St. called police at 12:49 a.m. about a man staggering in the parking lot.

Police arrived to find Cornelius Thomas with a knife wound in his torso. Police said he told them that his brother had stabbed him. Mr. Thomas of the first block of Johnson Place was flown to the Prince George's County Trauma Center for treatment.

Carlos Thomas was arrested without incident about 1:10 a.m. Tuesday.

* Londontown: Someone stole a $75 motorized car from the front yard of a house in the 1700 block of Chesapeake Drive sometime between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.
