POLICE LOG

* Laurel: Someone stole $1,400 Tuesday morning from a cash box of the Cartel East Inc. store in the 3400 block of Fort Meade Road.

* Crofton: Someone stole a $250 cellular phone Monday morning from an unlocked car parked in the 2500 block of Ambling Circle.

* Habitat: Someone stole a $70 bike from the back yard of a house in the 2000 block of Cambridge Drive sometime between 8 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.

* Riedel Estates: Someone stole a $185 stereo and buffing pads from a truck parked in the 2700 block of Price Road sometime between Saturday and Monday. The truck's windshield was damaged by a BB pellet, and a side window was destroyed.
