* Kings Contrivance: 8900 block of Early April Way: A resident who heard a noise at his window yelled when he saw someone standing there shortly after midnight yesterday. Police said the stranger fled, apparently having cut the window screen moments earlier.

* Hickory Ridge: 5800 block of Harness Court: A tan 1994 Dodge Caravan with Maryland tags 1A55915 was stolen Thursday or Friday.
