Rappahannock cruises begin

Lunch and evening cruises on the Rappahannock River will be available beginning Wednesday aboard the City of Fredericksburg, a 100-foot boat with paddle wheel. Two-hour lunch cruises are offered daily, along with 2 1/2 -hour dinner cruises Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Three-hour dinner and dance cruises are scheduled Friday and Saturday nights.

The boat departs from City Dock in Old Town Fredericksburg, Va. Call (703) 373-1776.

The second annual City Island Flower and Craft Festival will be held Saturday on City Island in Harrisburg, Pa., from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to a large arts and crafts show, there will be a performance by the Harrisburg Youth Symphony at 1 p.m.

Admission is free. Rain date is June 5.

The Pride of the Susquehanna, Harrisburg's paddle wheeler, will begin its public cruises Saturday from City Island every hour between noon and 5 p.m. Public cruises are available daily, except Mondays in June, July and August. Call (717) 234-6500.
