* North Laurel: 9700 block of Whiskey Run: A VCR was stolen after someone pushed open a house's basement window Tuesday morning, police said.

8800 block of Old Scaggsville Road: Appliances and kitchen cabinets were stolen from a house under construction after a lock was picked open late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, police said.

9000 block of North Laurel Road: Residents in an apartment complex reported seeing three people peering into windows of several homes Wednesday night. They were described as two males and a female, police said.
