A vote by Sen. Paul S. Sarbanes on an amendment to exempt water treatment plant construction from the Davis-Bacon Act was reported incorrectly in Sunday's Votes in Congress box. Mr. Sarbanes voted against the amendment.

In addition, a vote by Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin on an amendment requiring European allies to pick up most of the nonpersonnel costs of the U.S. troops stationed in Europe also was reported incorrectly. Mr. Cardin did not vote on the amendment.
