Baltimore police have issued murder warrants for two men in the death of retired Johns Hopkins University professor William H. McClain, 77.

Dr. McClain, who taught German for nearly 30 years, died Monday of head injuries after being punched and knocked down on the porch of his rowhouse, police said.
