KINSTON, N. C. -- The Kinston Indians rallied with three runs in the seventh to defeat the Frederick Keys, 8-6, in a Single-A Carolina League game yesterday.
The Keys scored five runs in the top of the seventh to go ahead 6-5, their first lead of the game. Frederick scored five runs on two hits, two walks, two errors and two hit batsmen.
Mitchell Melusky's RBI single to left tied the game in the bottom of the seventh, and Samuel Hence's double two batters later put the Indians ahead 7-6. Hence went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
