Thunder defeats Baysox, 10-4

TRENTON, N.J. -- Mike Rendina's three-run home run highlighted a seven-run fifth inning, and the Trenton Thunder defeated the Bowie Baysox, 10-4, in a Double-A Eastern League game last night.

Bowie scored a run in the sixth. Then an RBI triple by Kris Gresham and a run-scoring sacrifice fly by Curtis Goodwin brought the Baysox to 7-4 in the seventh inning.

After a single by Dean Decillis in the bottom of the seventh, Tom Clark homered to right-center field, increasing the Thunder lead to 9-4. In the eighth, Kirk Mendenhall's single scored Justin Mashore with the game's final run.
