Trenton rallies to beat Baysox, 8-3

TRENTON, N.J. -- Tony Clark hit a two-run single in the fifth inning last night and the Trenton Thunder overcame a one-run deficit to beat the Bowie Baysox, 8-3, in a Double-A Eastern League game.

Bowie trailed 2-1 until the fifth, when it took a 3-2 lead on Edgar Alfonzo's RBI single and Alex Ochoa's fielder's choice.

Baysox starter Scott Klingenbeck (1-2) took the loss, and Dave Mysel (1-3) picked up the win. Mysel, who pitched at the University of Maryland, gave up six hits in 5 1/3 innings. The Baysox hit into three double plays for the third time this season.
