Man eludes police after wielding knife to rob pizza shop

A man armed with a knife robbed a Little Caesar's Pizza shop Monday afternoon of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.

The man entered the store in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway about 1:30 p.m. wielding the knife and demanding money, police said. The clerk gave him money from the cash register, and the thief fled through the shopping center on foot.

The man is white, in his 30s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, police said. He weighs 140 to 150 pounds, has a fair complexion, sandy brown hair and a mustache that comes down past his lower lip. He was last seen wearing dark glasses, a flannel shirt, faded blue jeans, a red and white baseball hat, tan work boots and a dark scarf.
