Clyde R. Walls Sr. Retired security officer

Clyde R. Walls Sr., a retired private police officer, died Wednesday of heart failure at Liberty Medical Center. He was 58 and lived in Northwest Baltimore.

He retired about 10 years ago as a police officer in Rite Aid pharmacies.

A native of Grafton, W.Va., who was reared in Edgewater, he was a graduate of Southern High School in Anne Arundel County.

Services were set for 11:30 a.m. today at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis.

He is survived by two sons, Clyde R. Walls Jr. of Shady Side and Michael T. Walls of Baltimore; a daughter, Deborah L. Bruce of Baltimore; two brothers, William Walls Jr. of San Diego and Warren Walls of St. Louis; two sisters, Joanne Click and Doris Scott, both of Edgewater; and three grandchildren.
