The manager of a Kmart in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway told police that a woman has stolen about $1,550 worth of videotapes from the store over the last two weeks, county police said.

Mark Webster, 35, the loss prevention manager for Kmart, told police the woman was captured on videotape by the store's security camera putting tapes in a shopping cart, then slipping them into a large blue canvas bag she had brought.

The first incident occurred on April 16, when the woman stole 29 tapes worth more than $500. The second occurred May 2 when she made off with 30 tapes worth more than $450. The most recent theft occurred Wednesday. The woman stole 30 more tapes worth nearly $600.A police report revealed that the tapes range from "Mrs. Doubtfire" to "Under Siege" to "Star Wars" and "Die Hard 2."

Police said the suspect is white, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 130 to 140 pounds. She has wavy dark brown shoulder-length hair and carries a blue canvas bag, police said.
