* Oakland Mills: 5300 block of Twin Knolls Road: Stereo equipment, a videocassette recorder, a television, phones and a microwave were stolen from the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center Tuesday after someone pried open a rear window. Witnesses told police they saw a man loading property onto his navy-blue pickup truck.

* Kings Contrivance: Broken Land Parkway/Route 32: A gray 1991 Hyundai Sonata with Maryland tags 849AJPD was stolen from a park-and-ride lot Wednesday, police said.
