The State Highway Administration will make major traffic pattern changes along southbound Interstate 97 and eastbound Route 100 starting after the evening rush hour Friday.

The eastbound Route 100 ramp will be closed, and motorists are advised to use Route 10 or Route 174 as alternate routes.

The eastbound Route 100 ramp is to be relocated to a left-exit ramp, and work should be completed before the evening rush hour on May 16.

Double lane closures are expected during construction, and flag people, signs and arrow signs will be posted to help motorists.
