Baseball cards stolen from dealer at mall

A box of baseball cards valued at $6,000 was stolen from a stand at Cranberry Mall on April 27, Westminster police said.

Robert Stump of Lancaster, Pa., a collector and dealer, was preparing and packaging the cards for a show at the mall and placed several hundred in a box for overnight storage, he told police.

Mr. Stump reported that when he searched for the box a short time later it was missing.

He said the baseball cards dated from 1957 to 1965.
