* Town Center: First block of Wincopin Circle: A 1989 Buick Century stolen from Baltimore County was recovered at the Columbia Inn parking garage Friday morning, police said.

* Hickory Ridge: 11500 block of Shell Flower Lane: Someone attempted to steal a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo Wednesday. Police said the would-be thief managed to start the ignition, but was foiled when the steering wheel remained locked in position.

* Dorsey's Search: 5400 block of Columbia Road: A white 1991 Acura Legend with Florida tags SO1XV was stolen Wednesday.

5500 block of April Journey: A white 1992 Acura Legend with Maryland tags ABW374 was stolen Wednesday morning, police said.
