Baseball
RTC White led the No. 17 Cougars to four wins with his bat and left arm. The senior pitcher/first baseman won two games pitching over Northeast (one-hitter, five innings, 8-3) and Meade (three-hitter, 15 strikeouts, 10-2), striking out 23 in 12 innings to run his total to 60 in 42 innings and lower his ERA to 1.33. He also picked off three runners. In victories over South River by 11-6 and Southern by 11-1, White knocked in five runs with a pair of doubles and a homer. For the week, he was 10-for-16 with 13 RBIs, two doubles, a triple, two homers and is batting .450.

Cristi Samaras, Annapolis
Girls lacrosse
This senior standout scored eight goals and had six assists in a pair of victories for the No. 4 Panthers by 19-6 over Old Mill and 12-6 over South River. Samaras had five goals and four assists against Old Mill and has 50 goals and 25 assists.
Boys lacrosse
Matt Collins, North County
Collins' scoring led surging North County to a pair of big wins last week, including a 9-8 triple-overtime thriller over Severna Park. The Knights' junior attackman had three goals, including the game-winner at Severna Park on Friday, and scored a hat trick and assisted on two more in a 16-3 romp over Old Mill on Tuesday.
Softball
Renee Rhinehart, North County
Rhinehart had all three wins last week for the No. 13 Knights. In the completion of a suspended game, Rhinehart pitched four innings of no-hit ball and had a triple and three RBIs as the Knights upset No. 4 Severna Park, 9-7, in a nine-inning game. Rhinehart (5-1) also pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts and two walks, not permitting a runner past first base to shut out Broadneck, 11-0. She also doubled in two runs in the rout, and Rhinehart scattered nine hits in a 6-2 triumph over Old Mill.
Track
Jason Briggs, Severna Park
In a four-team meet, Briggs took three events to lead the Falcons to the team victory over Meade by 100-72. Briggs won the 110- and 400-meter --es and added the 300 intermediate hurdles.
