A 29-year-old Baltimore County man was arrested and charged with auto theft Tuesday morning after a 1990 Ford Bronco was stolen while its owner was in a Wilde Lake Village Center store.

Howard County police stopped the stolen vehicle a few blocks away and arrested a man who police say had jumped from the truck and tried to run away.

Dennis Donnell Wise was being held yesterday at the Howard County Detention Center in lieu of $3,500 bond.
