LYNCHBURG, Va.-- Eric Chavez and Feliciano Mercedes each had three RBIs as the Frederick Keys defeated the Lynchburg Red Sox, 6-2, in a Single-A Carolina League game last night.

The Keys scored two runs in the second and third innings off loser Chad Renfroe.

Matt Jarvis (1-0) picked up the win in relief for Frederick.
