THE BALTIMORE SUN

A man armed with a small-caliber handgun robbed a Glen Burnie convenience store clerk of an undetermined amount of money Saturday morning, county police said.

The man walked into the High's store in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway about 8:10 a.m. and bought a candy bar, police said. He left the store, but returned to buy a gallon of water.

While buying the water, police said, he threatened a clerk with a small-caliber handgun and demanded money. Police said she gave the man some bills and he walked out of the store.
