* Mount Airy: Mount Airy and West Friendship of Howard County responded for a fire alarm in the first block of N. Main St. at 9:34 a.m. Sunday. Units were out for 10 minutes.

* Taylorsville: Winfield responded for a woods fire in the 4500 block of Roop Road at 11:06 a.m. Sunday. Units were out for about 90 minutes.
