* Mount Airy: Firefighters from the Mount Airy station responded to an auto fire on Interstate 70 near mile marker 68 at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday. They were out for 24 minutes.

* Winfield: Winfield firefighters responded to a field fire on Heritage Lane at 8:42 a.m. Tuesday. They were out for 24 minutes.

Firefighters from the Winfield station assisted Howard County firefighters at a brush fire in the 7200 block of Woodbine Road at 9:26 p.m. Monday. They were out for 17 minutes.

Winfield firefighters responded to a brush fire in the 3500 block of Ridge Road at 7:49 p.m. Monday. They were out for 23 minutes.
