One man was critically injured when he was ejected from an overturning truck and two others suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Salem Bottom Road about midnight Saturday.

Dallas C. Brothers, 19, of Woodbine was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after the pickup truck in which he was riding ran off the right side of the road at Sams Creek Road.

The vehicle overturned in a field.

The 19-year-old driver, Jeffrey S. Irvine of Sykesville, and another passenger, 16-year-old Adam D. Hinsche of Westminster, were treated at Carroll County General Hospital and released.

A hospital spokeswoman said Mr. Brothers was in critical condition yesterday.
