ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman robbed the cashier at a garage in the 200 block of W. Lombard St. of $200 Thursday.

ROBBERY: Central District -- An out-of-town resident was in the 1700 block of N. Calvert St. Thursday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $300.

THEFT: Central District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from a car parked in the first block of W. Pratt St. Thursday.

SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 4100 block of Maibane Court was in the 1400 block of W. Pratt St. Thursday when he was shot by a man with a small caliber handgun. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for a minor wound.

SHOOTING: Southern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the first block of S. Stockton St. in the leg and arm during an incident in the 1200 block of W. Lombard St. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released.

THEFT: Western District -- Tools valued at more than $300 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of N. Schroeder St. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1000 block of N. Gilmor St. was in the 600 block of N. Mount St. Thursday when a gunman robbed him of his portable radio.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 1000 block of W. Lanvale St. Wednesday or Thursday by someone who entered through a rear basement window.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A safe containing $400 and $1,500 worth of gold jewelry was stolen from a house in the 2300 block of Winchester St. Thursday by someone who entered through the front door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Presbury St. was in the 1600 block of Delano Court Thursday when he was attacked by several youths who robbed him of $16 while striking him with sticks.

RAPE TRY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who attempted to rape a resident of the 1200 block of N. Fulton Ave. in her home Wednesday. During the incident, the woman struck the man in the head with a dinner plate. Police said the man was known to the woman.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone removed more than $300 from a cash register at Root's bar in the 2100 block of Vine St. Thursday.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- A man entered the 7-Eleven store in the 4900 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Wednesday and stole property of unknown value.

DOG THEFT: Northwestern District -- A pit bull valued at more than $200 was stolen from the back yard of a house in the 3400 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Maryland tags XBX162 was stolen from the 3800 block of Copley Road Wednesday or Thursday.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A green 1993 Dodge Shadow used by the state's Department of General Services in the 300 block of W. Preston St. and with state government tags 04913 was stolen from the 3800 block of Milford Ave. Wednesday or Thursday.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- When a resident of the 5000 block of Cordelia Ave. refused to open his front door to a man early Thursday morning, the man fired a gun into the door. The occupant was not hit by the bullet, which caused at least $100 damage to the door.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1986 Mazda RX7 with Maryland tags AZS 754 was stolen from the 2900 block of Fallstaff Road Thursday.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered Pimlico Elementary School in the 4800 block of Pimlico Road Wednesday or Thursday and attempted to open a cabinet.

CUTTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4600 block of Park Heights Ave. was arguing with a woman at his home Thursday when the woman stabbed him in the arm with a knife. The woman escaped and the man was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment. A warrant was being issued for the woman's arrest.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1988 Ford Ranger with Maryland tags 015739 was stolen from the 6800 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday. Police were seeking two 14-year-old boys in connection with the theft.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5000 block of Pembridge Ave. through a rear kitchen

window between April 8 and April 14 and stole $200.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from a house in the 4300 block of Ridgewood Ave. by someone who entered through a door.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Wayne Ave. through a rear door Wednesday or Thursday and stole property of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $25 was stolen from a house in the 5300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Thursday by someone who entered through a rear window.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 3100 block of W. Belvedere Ave. Thursday by someone who entered through the front door.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave. was in the 4400 block of Pimlico Road Thursday when he was attacked by a man who struck him over the head with a handgun. The victim was treated for injuries at Sinai Hospital.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a construction trailer parked on the grounds of the Roland Park Country School in the 5200 block of Roland Ave. and stole $3,000 worth of hand and power tools.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Tools and two bikes, all valued at $800, were stolen from a garage in the 2800 block of Manhattan Ave. Thursday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking the person who stole property valued at more than $300 from a house in the 4700 block of Ivanhoe Ave. while the occupant was away between April 6 and April 14.

Baltimore County

TEACHER ASSAULTED/ARREST: North Point District -- Police arrested a 15-year-old student at Dundalk High School in the 1900 block of Delvale Ave. Thursday and charged him as a juvenile with committing a fourth degree sexual assault on a teacher. The teacher told police the youth entered her room Thursday afternoon and placed his hands on her as she attempted to fend him off while telling him that doing such a thing was grounds for his being expelled. The youth was detained by a male teacher before police arrived. The teacher was not injured.

THEFT: NorthPoint District -- Police were seeking a couple who stole property valued at nearly $1,000 from a pickup truck parked in the 800 block of Mildred Ave. Thursday.

DRUG ARREST: North Point District -- Police arrested a 38-year-old man Thursday and charged him with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Police said Keith C. Harris, of the 100 block of Chestnut St., was arrested at Dunbar and Belclair roads and was being held at the station pending a bail hearing.

THEFT: North Point District -- Someone stole a tarpaulin valued at $500 from the Lidetka trucking company in the 4400 block of North Point Boulevard Thursday.

THEFT: North Point District -- Police arrested a Baltimore couple who attempted to leave the Sears store at the Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Ave. Thursday without paying for clothing valued at nearly $200.

THEFT: North Point District -- Someone stole a lawnmower from the back of a pickup truck in the 8100 block of Longpoint Road Thursday. The lawnmower was valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY TRY: Towson District -- A Towson resident was walking across the parking lot at Towson Marketplace in the 1200 block of Putty Hill Ave. Thursday when a gunman and his female accomplice ordered him to give up his wallet. As the accomplice was reaching into the man's pocket, a car approached, prompting the couple to flee before they could rob the man.

THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A 1993 utility trailer valued at $2,000 was stolen from MacKenzie Lines Inc. in the 19800 block of Beaver Dam Road Wednesday or Thursday.
