THE BALTIMORE SUN

A 22-year-old West Friendship man was arrested early yesterday, accused of stabbing his older brother during a fight at their home, Howard County police said.

Allen Christopher Wise was charged with assault with intent to murder and several related charges. He was being held last night at the Howard County Detention Center on $250,000 bond.

Wayne Leon Wise, 29, was reported in serious but stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was treated for cuts and stab wounds to his abdomen, leg and hand.

At 2:30 a.m. yesterday police responded to the 13700 block of Old Rover Road for a report of a stabbing. Witnesses told police that Allen Christopher Wise had come home and started a disturbance. Police say his brother was injured as the two struggled.
