BALTIMORE CITY
* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 1500 block of Carswell St. between April 6 and April 13 by someone who entered through a basement door.
* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A 19-inch TV valued at $100 was stolen from a house in the 4800 block of Truesdale Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a rear door.
* PURSE SNATCHING: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Walker Ave. was walking in the 6200 block of Falkirk Road Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $80.
* ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking several youths who attacked a resident of the 400 block of Elrino St. in the 1000 block of Quantril Way Tuesday and beat him with sticks and boards. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Francis Scott Key Medical Center.
* RAPE: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who drove a woman to his home in the 3600 block of Garrison Blvd. Tuesday and raped her. After escaping the man, the woman was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A two-door 1988 Acura with Maryland tags TSY 0108 was stolen from the 6300 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday.
* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Hanlon Ave. was in the 3200 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday when a man robbed her of her purse and leather jacket, all valued at nearly $450.
* THEFT: Western District -- Someone stole three tires from a truck parked in the 1600 block of Ashburton St. between Wednesday and Thursday.
* BURGLARY: Western District -- At least a ton of scrap metal valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from Industrial Metals in the 1500 block of Warwick Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.
* ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a woman who stabbed a male resident of the 1000 block of Cook Road in the arm during an incident in the 1800 block of N. Fulton Ave. Monday.
* ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1200 block of N. Fulton Ave. was hospitalized Wednesday after a man he knows stabbed him in the chest with a knife during an argument near the victim's home Wednesday.
* THEFT: Western District -- A man entered McCrory's department store in the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $25.
* THEFT: Western District -- Tools valued at $300 were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday.
* ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of N. Carrollton Ave. was arguing with another man in the 1200 block of Riggs Ave. Wednesday and was shot in the right chest. The gunman escaped,and the victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
* BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man who entered a home in the 1000 block of Woodyear St. Wednesday through a door and stole copper piping and various fixtures that were recovered when the man was arrested.
* CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the Free Will Baptist Church in the 700 block of Fremont Ave. between Sunday and Wednesday and stole amplifying equipment valued at $700.
* THEFT: Western District -- A safe containing an undisclosed sum of money was stolen from a house in the 1500 block of Edmondson Ave. between Sunday and Wednesday by someone who entered through the front door.
* THEFT: Western District -- An ATM card and at least one credit card were stolen from a resident of the 500 block of Jamestown Court while she was in the 1600 block of Clifton Ave. Wednesday.
* THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Save Rite Super Market in the 1700 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday without paying for four cans of spices valued at nearly $9.
* BURGLARY: Western District -- A cassette "boom box" radio valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Mosher St. Tuesday.
* CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the Free Hope Church in the 1400 block of Riggs Ave. through a basement window between Sunday and Tuesday and stole two electric heaters and a circular saw, all valued at $800.
* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 3900 block of N. Charles St. Tuesday after breaking a window. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.
* THEFT: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $1,300 was stolen from Belvedere Plaza Liquors in the 5600 block of The Alameda Tuesday.
* THEFT: Northern District -- Jewelry and a camcorder, all valued at nearly $1,800, were stolen from a house in the 1100 block of Sherwood Drive between Monday and Tuesday.
* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Labyrinth book store in the 2500 block of N. Charles St. Wednesday while the owner was asleep in the store and stole a cash register valued at $1,000 that contained $100. Later, police recovered the cash register.
* THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole stereo equipment from his ex-girlfriend's house in the 2600 block of Miles Ave. Wednesday and hocked the property at a pawn shop.
* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A 28-year-old resident of the 2600 block of Miles Ave. was walking in the 300 block of W. 26th St. Wednesday when an occupant of a passing red car fired a shot at him. The man was not injured.
* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A 26-year-old resident of the 2700 block of N. Calvert St. was riding his bike in the first block of E. 25th St. Wednesday when he was hit by a black van. When the biker and motorist began to argue, the motorist attempted to hit the biker again before driving away. The biker was not seriously injured.
* RAPE: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who forced a 14-year-old girl behind the staircase of a building in the 5200 block of Roland Ave. Monday and raped her at knifepoint.
* THEFT: Northern District -- Following an argument with a female resident of the 1800 block of Gilrubin Court Wednesday, a man stole the woman's false teeth that were valued at nearly $500.
* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of Belgian Ave. through a rear basement door Wednesday and stole stereo equipment valued at $70.
* ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Sidney Ave. was in the 2200 block of Annapolis Road Tuesday when she was assaulted by several boys who robbed her of $30.
BALTIMORE COUNTY
* CAR THEFT ATTEMPTS: Towson District -- Someone entered a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville parked at the Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road Wednesday and attempted to steal it by breaking the ignition. The car failed to start and the thief fled. The same day at the same shopping center, someone attempted to steal a red 1987 Jeep Cherokee after breaking its steering column cover and the ignition. That vehicle also failed to start.
* STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville District -- A green 1993 Acura Integra with Maryland tags AFZ 291 and valued at $14,000 was stolen from the 400 block of Rockfleet Road between Tuesday and Wednesday.
* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Several cartons of cigarettes valued at nearly $100 were stolen from a locker at Sunday Crown Inc. in the 2400 block of York Road Tuesday by someone who entered the building through the front door.
* BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Computer games of unknown value were stolen from an apartment in the 1200 block of Martin Court Wednesday.
* BURGLARY: Woodlawn District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 6500 block of Kincheloe Road through the front door Wednesday. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.
* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered the Carroll Park Pro Shop in the 2100 block of Washington Blvd. through a rear door Wednesday and stole property of unknown value.
* ASSAULT: Southern District -- Police were seeking two teen-age girls who attacked a teen-ager near her home in the 1400 block of Washington Blvd. on Tuesday and cut her with a knife.
