5th-graders to participate in chorus, recorder choir

PARKVILLE -- More than 250 fifth-graders from 50 schools will VTC participate in the All-County Elementary Choral and Recorder Festival at 2 p.m. Saturday April 16 at Parkville Middle School, 8711 Avondale Road. CONCERT

The singers and musicians, chosen by their teachers, will perform in a 200-student chorus and a 70-person recorder choir.

Alta Haywood of Perry Hall Elementary School will conduct the chorus and Michael Allman of Riderwood Elementary will lead the recorder choir.
