POLICE LOG

* Elkridge: 500 block of Deep Run Parkway: Someone kicked in the front door of a vacant mobile home Sunday. Police said a computer was moved but left behind.

* Ellicott City: 3600 block of Park Ave.: A compact disc player was stolen between Friday and Sunday after someone pried open a window at Nuebauer Abstracts and removed the screen. Police said entry was first attempted by breaking a glass rear door.
