Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information about an armed robbery at an Elkridge gas station Wednesday night.

A lone gunman entered the Amoco station in the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday and demanded money from a clerk, Howard County police said.

The clerk complied. The suspect snatched an undetermined amount of cash and ran. No one was injured, police said.

Anyone with information should call Howard police at 313-2236.

To qualify for the reward, callers should also use the Metro Crime Stoppers hot line, 276-8888. Money is given for information leading to the arrest and indictment of criminal suspects.
