3800 block of Centennial Lane:Two windows were shattered at the Howard County Board of Education between Sunday and Tuesday.

* Elkridge: 6600 block of Grouse Road: A 1988 Nissan Stanza stolen early Monday morning was recovered near a leveled mailbox, police said.

6300 block of Virginia Pine Place: Someone tried to steal a 1987 Chevrolet Corvette Tuesday morning. A neighbor reported seeing two white men flee the scene in a dark Escort with tinted windows.

7000 block of Ducketts Lane: A black 1993 Suzuki Katana 600 motorcycle with Maryland tags 68291D was stolen Friday or Saturday.
